విజయనగర రాజసభలో ఒక రోజు… అరేబియా నుండి వచ్చిన ఓ వ్యాపారి… మూడు గుర్రాలతో సభలోకి అడుగుపెట్టాడు. ఆ గుర్రాలను చూసి… సభలో అందరూ ఆశ్చర్యపోయారు.
One day in the Vijayanagara court, an Arabian trader walked in with three magnificent horses. Everyone in the assembly was astonished at the sight.
వ్యాపారి మాటలు వింటూ… సభలో అందరూ మంత్రముగ్ధులయ్యారు. కానీ తెనాలి ముఖంలో మాత్రమే… చిలిపి నవ్వు.
The entire court sat enchanted by the merchant's words. But on Tenali's face — only a mischievous smile.
పాతిక వేల వరహాలు — సభ నిశ్శబ్దమైంది!
