ఒక గ్రామంలో... చంద్రవతి అనే అమ్మాయి ఉంది.
In a village… there lived a girl named Chandravathi.
అగ్ని సాక్షిగా... సొమదత్తుడు ఆమె మెడలో తాళి కట్టాడు.
With Agni as sacred witness… Somadatta tied the sacred thread around her neck.
అది ఆమె జీవితంలో అత్యంత పవిత్రమైన రాత్రి.
It was the most sacred night of her life.
ఇద్దరూ సంతోషంగా నిండుగా ఉన్నారు.

A snake bit him.

పెళ్ళైన మర్నాడే... మంగళసూత్రం తీశారు.
The very day after the wedding… the sacred thread was removed.
తెల్లని చీర కట్టారు.
A white sari was draped around her.
చంద్రవతి... ఒంటరిగా మిగిలిపోయింది.
Chandravathi… was left alone.

భద్రుడు — BHADRUDU
ఆ గ్రామంలోనే... భద్రుడు అనే యువకుడు ఉన్నాడు.
In that same village… lived a young man named Bhadrudu.
ఆమెను చాలాకాలంగా ప్రేమిస్తున్నాడు.
He had loved her for a long time.
కానీ... ఎప్పుడూ చెప్పలేదు.
But… he had never told her.
ఆమె ఒంటరితనాన్ని చూసాడు. ఆమె బాధను చూసాడు.
He saw her loneliness. He saw her pain.
చివరికి... ఆమెను వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు.
In the end… he married her.

ఋషికాంత్ మహర్షి — THE SAGE
ఆ సమయంలో... ఆ గ్రామానికి వచ్చాడు... ఋషికాంత్ మహర్షి.
At that time… Rishikant Maharshi came to the village.
జీవన మరణాలను జయించిన సిద్ధపురుషుడు.
A sage who had conquered life and death.
అతనికి చంద్రవతి కథ తెలిసింది.
He came to know Chandravathi's story.
పెళ్ళి రాత్రే భర్తను పోగొట్టుకున్న ఆమె బాధ విన్నాడు.
He heard of her grief — widowed on the very night of her wedding.
ఒక స్త్రీకి జరిగిన ఈ అన్యాయం... అతని మనసును కదిలించింది.
This injustice done to a woman… moved him deeply.
ధర్మం పరిరక్షించడం అతని స్వభావం. అందుకే...
Protecting dharma was his nature. And so…

ఆ రాత్రి... పవిత్ర నదీ తీరానికి వెళ్ళాడు.
That night… he went to the sacred riverbank.
మంత్రాలు చదివాడు. సొమదత్తుని ఆత్మను తిరిగి పిలిచాడు.
He chanted sacred verses. He called back Somadatta's soul.

సొమదత్తుడు కళ్ళు తెరిచాడు.
Somadatta opened his eyes.
మళ్ళీ.
Again.

చంద్రవతి ముఖంలో వెలుతురు చూసి... ఋషికాంత్ హృదయం ఆగిపోయింది.
Seeing the light return to Chandravathi's face… Rishikant's heart stood still.
అది ధర్మం కోసం చేశాడు అని అనుకున్నాడు.
He had told himself he did it for dharma.
కానీ...
But…

ముగ్గురు — THE THREE
ఇప్పుడు చంద్రవతి ముందు ముగ్గురు నిలబడ్డారు.
Now three men stood before Chandravathi.
అగ్ని సాక్షిగా తాళి కట్టిన భర్త.
The husband who tied the sacred thread with Agni as witness.
ఆమెకు కొత్త జీవితం ఇచ్చిన భర్త.
The husband who gave her a new life.
మరియు... ఆమె బాధను తన బాధగా మోసిన మహర్షి.
And… the sage who carried her pain as his own.

⚔️ విక్రమాదిత్యుడు
సొమదత్తుడే ఆమె భర్త. అగ్ని సాక్షిగా కట్టిన తాళి అంత తేలిగ్గా తెగదు. భద్రుడు ఆమె పట్ల చూపిన ప్రేమ పుత్ర ధర్మం వంటిది. ఋషికాంత్ చేసిన పని పితృ ధర్మం వంటిది. ధర్మ బద్ధమైన భర్త సొమదత్తుడే.
Somadatta is her husband. The sacred bond tied with Agni as witness cannot be broken so easily. The love Bhadrudu showed is like a son's duty. What Rishikant did is like a father's duty. The rightful husband, bound by dharma, is Somadatta.
